Happiness Is All The Rage

Today has been such a random day. Who knows what the hell is going on. But Emily and Chris came down to help me out with my film today and it was awesome. So many obscure things happened. None of which did I catch on film, which is WAY upsetting. We get outside to start shooting and this kid is sitting on the stoop next to my place in like sweatpants and a t-shirt, and then this happens:

Chris: It's an awesome day to go for a run, man.
Kid: Yeah, I'm not running I'm just hanging out.
Chris: Oh, sorry, it just looked like you were about to go. I mean it's such a great day to do it, you know?

The kid then nods, and without a WORD he gets up and just TAKES OFF.... running. What the heck?! And that was just the beginning. Later, this miniature parade of humming and drumming peacekeeper people totally walked by like a little parade of monks and they would have been PERFECT in my shot but the camera malfunctioned for the duration of their passing by. Oh man, though, that would have been an amazingly hilarious shot. So random. So discombobulated, which so matches the theme of my film. I'm sooooo mad I didn't catch it. But it happens... unfortunately.

I feel like I should give a shout out to St. Patrick's Day since I'm Irish and all. It had to be the best day ever. Not only was I just amazingly and randomly lucky all day (and really all week come to think of it..) but I got drunk with some of my favorite people and good times were had. I have this ridiculous disease where I spill when I'm drinking, though, but... I think we worked it out in a healthy way. haha... it was good times indeed. So cheers, St. Paddy, thanks for advocating underage drinking and the luck of the Irish.
